Steps To A Lasting Revival
Now that we have entered the beginning of the end of all things, no Christian man or woman should be satisfied with any Christian experience based on emotion, sentiments and outward show without inward experience cannot stand the test of time.
Many people, like the psalmist in (Ps. 85:4-8) have at one time or the other gotten revival, but it did not last, and they are now crying for another one (v6) which may not last as well, But in the book, we shall see the steps that may lead us to a lasting and enjoying revival.
“Revival is not more a miracle than a crop of wheat, Revival comes from heaven when heroic souls enter the conflicts determined to win or die or if need be, to win and die.The kingdom of God suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force” Charles G. Finney.
And because of the state or condition of today’s Christianity, the need for revival is an urgent one. For true leadership in the Church of God, the Spirit is looking for leaders who are more concerned about character than credit, faithfulness than fame, righteous than recognition, serving than being served, purpose than prosperity. Purity than popularity.
He is searching for men and women who see their lives as an opportunity to fulfill their destiny, not an occasion to take advantage of the disadvantaged.
And where else can these be found? Through revival in the lives of God’s people.
