Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die,. It abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit (Jn 12:24).
Our Lord Jesus Christ in this Scripture was speaking of the death. He must die to redeem and save us from sin. He first spoke of His glorification which will not happen until this death occur. He went further to raise this critical matter of dying to live as it affects us His disciples. No disciple is excepted from this death experience. It Is the per-requisite for inheriting eternal life. “He that loveth his life shall lose it, and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal” (Jn 12:25).
This death experience is one thing that the flesh, the human nature abhors and hates to hear. The doctrine of health and wealth as evidence and prove of a true Christian as preached and taught in our day are geared toward opposing this Calvary experience. When Jesus raised this issue of His own suffering and death, Simon Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him. An act I perceive the other disciples were in agreement with.
When this death to sin, the flesh and the world occur, Christ now live in and through this life, His own life. One can now confess and say like Paul, “It is no longer i that liveth but Christ Liveth in me “

The chips are down. And two types of believers and Christians are now very obvious. It is no longer hidden. By Their fruits, they are known and seen. They are among us, but not with us, neither for us nor for the lord, bit for themselves. While rivers of living water, is flowing from true and genuine bellies, they are pot bellied as a result of making their their god. They mind earthly things, come for earthly things, struggle and fight for making money and gain. They are proud of what they should be ashamed of.
But it pleased the lord that both of them should grow together and co-exist, the wheat and the tares, the sheep and the goat, the active and the passive , the EAGLE AND THE VULTURE CHRISTIANS (An allegory), till the day of harvest and divine separation when every one will go to his or her own place t spend eternity there. In these last days, when the Christians faith demands the highest consecration commitment and sacrifice, the vultures have dominated the scene, superimposing themselves in all nook and crannies of the faith, The faith therefore is in dire need and want of the eagles.
